Midterm procedures:

1) exam emailed 10 minutes before official exam (class) time

2) you work on exam for the duration of the exam (class). You may
    a) answer on the printed exam
    b) answer on plain paper
    c) answer using text file

3) when exam (class) ends, you have 20 minutes to submit your answers.
    a) If you answered on paper - use your phone to scan your answers into a
       SINGLE pdf document. I used "JPG to PDF Converter" for Android. and I have
       heard students using CamScanner for Apple. There are many apps that can
       scan - make sure you have one installed and are familiar with. Use
       midterm_PDF_test to test your pdf file (submit on pontus and download back
       from pontus to check it is readable).
    b) if you prefer to answer using ASCII text - work with a LOCAL text
       document (plain ASCII). When done - submit (by copy-pasting) your answers
       using ASCII midterm submission. Try it with midterm_ASCII_test.

Make sure to enumerate problems.

You may submit some problems using ASCII, some using PDF.
